Summary
The annual Foxton Loop Race is an event run since 1998 by the Ruahine White Water Club. The original race was from Foxton Township and around the southern end of the river out to the Manawatu and then back into the loop back to Foxton. This year the southern entrance was blocked off by weed and we had to change our race to run from the Manawatu Marine Boating club over 18kms of tidal water up to a buoy at Foxton and then back.
